BY AIR

GENOA has its own airport (https://www.airport.genova.it/), which is on the seafront and a twenty-minute taxi ride from the Faculty of Educational Sciences where the conference will be held. The taxi fare is approximately €20. There is also a half-hourly bus service which takes you into the town centre (https://www.amt.genova.it/amt/trasporto-multimodale/volabus/).

From the airports of Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio you may take a bus or a train to reach Milano Centrale railway station and take a train that will take you to either Genova Piazza Principe railway station or to Genova Brignole railway station. BY CAR

Genoa is on the motorway and can be also reached by car. Please note, however, that following the collapse of the Morandi Bridge in August 2018 it might be advisable to opt for an alternative means of transportation, as highly time-consuming traffic jams have become quite common.
